Great start to the week

Well I've been putting some on here and there and that just sucks. I'm sporadic in my workouts and I'm eating way too much. I've enlisted hubby to help with my eating habits and he bought a ton of fruits and veggies.

It's wed night and I've hit my cardio really well all three days this week. I did extra tonight because I won't be working out tomorrow because of a minor surgery. I'm just hoping I'll be fine to workout at least a little on Friday.

No weights this week I'm concentrating on getting as much cardio in as possible.

Starting another week

Sweet, another week starts tomorrow. Another week to test my working out. I have no appointments tomorrow, it's my daughters bday so I left the evening open. But hubby will be home to hang with her all day. So I'll hit the store to pick up her last couple of presents, grab a cake at cold stone and also the gym.

I know, cold stone is not the best choice for me. But if you are going to splurge then do it right. We are having grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans for her dinner. So dinner won't be too bad. I think I will bake up a sweet potato for myself, to keep out of the mashed potatoes.

I will hit extra cardio to make up for the bad food over this weekend and tomorrow. UGH, not a good mindset, but alas it has happened.

After last post

Well after I put up my last post it dawned on me that I had made it in a 4th day and forgot. I did workout on Friday, so that was 4 out of 7 and much better.

So far this week I am up to 3 days. It is thursday and I will get a cardio workout in tomorrow as well. I'm on a roll and feeling good about it. I'm also eating much better. Here's a tip. Once dinner is eaten, put the rest away. Good grief, I can't believe how much I graze while it's still sitting out on the counter or stove. YIKES!

So I realized I was doing that and put it away immediately. Once it's out of site I have to make the choice to take it out of the fridge and reheat it.

My workout today was tough on me. I haven't jogged outside in weeks and I miss it. But it was so much more work. I did 20 min. on the bike earlier today while I was making notes for the weight loss challenge this Fall. Then I came home and went jogging this afternoon. I'm not sure how far I went as I went another route. It's probably 3 miles still, but there is just no way to map this out. I jogged through the school on part of it because it was rush hour out here and I didn't want to be on the road with no side. lol

I feel in check and I feel good about it. Haven't felt this good in months.

umm, week didn't do awesome

Fessing up here. I did get cardio in one more day, but that was only 3 out of five days. Not what I was shooting for, however it was better than the two weeks before. I didn't want to leave the kids any longer by themselves on Friday and Sat. :( They've been really good, but you can tell the Summer boredom is starting to set in now and little arguments are getting to be bigger blow-ups.

Tomorrow is Monday. I will start off fresh. It's a good week to make sure I hit 5+. Hubby doesn't have to work until Friday.

We will also work on more diet. Since he is home we will work on it together. We have a ton of veggies to grill up.

New Week

Well here it is a new week and I've been quite good. I have gotten so out of the habit of working out and eating right. I'm going to start with the working out alone and then build from there. I'm going to do what I tell my clients and stop trying to get it all done cold turkey.

It's thurs. night and I have hit the cardio 3 days out of 4. I hit it hard today, really hard. To make up for the chinese food I had yesterday. I was smart today and knew that we wouldn't end up back at the gym tonight. So I hit it hard after my appointments. Always the right decision not to put it off!

My diet today has been a lot better. I'm fighting eating right now as it's 10pm. But I'm gonna fight it. I swear. If I don't fight it, it will be a handful of pretzels. I'm really craving the salt right now. lol

I'll work out again tomorrow. Then when I hit on Sat. morning that will be 5 days this week. RIGHT ON!

2 in a row

Hmm, hard to keep track of days of the week anymore. But I've had good workouts the last two days. Food, now that's a different story. I'm back and forth with it. No commitment and I really can't figure out why. If I can't get my diet in check then I will have to get more movement through the day. So two cardio workouts will be in order. I'm at the gym in the morning and then again usually for evening appointments. So if that is what it takes, then it will be done.

Yesterday I did an hour of medium cardio and today was 35 min. of hard cardio. So at least the workouts seem to be back in check.

aug. 11th goal

Alright, I have a new goal. Don't stick your tongue out at me, this one has to be met, so it's a good one. It's a matter of great clothes at the concert and looking like a sausage. lol You know, something really important. We've got an awesome outdoor concert to hit on Aug. 11th. Pain in the Grass and Godsmack is headlining. We just found out that one of the other 7 bands will be my absolute favorite
Buckcherry!!! I'm so stoked, but I've got to lose some middle.

I'm pledging to lose 10 pounds by Aug. 11th. I will hit my weekly weigh in's again. My starting weight yesterday was 174. :( So that means 164 by Aug. 11th. I'm also going to make hubby committ to 15 pounds by then. He loses faster than I do so 10 isn't fair. lol Then maybe he will help with all of these bad food choices that are going on.

I do have to say that even though I've been eating quit bad, my weight is staying pretty stagnate. Thankfully. I can't believe I didn't gain 10 pounds over the weekend alone. Wow i put some food down.

Tonight is Grilled chicken breasts and I'm going to have a lot of broccoli salad and just a couple of bites of potato salad. Then I need to map out tomorrow's meals. No more winging it! Practice what I preach darn it.
